Vehicles we run and arrange
Our own trucks cover the lanes we run weekly. Everything else comes from transporters whose papers and drivers we check before the vehicle is placed.
Pick the vehicle by the load, not the price
A load on the wrong body type costs more in damage and detention than it saves in freight. Use this as a starting point and the desk will confirm the fit.
| Vehicle | Payload | Body | Typically used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6-tyre truck | 9 tonnes | 19-20 ft open / closed | City and short-haul loads |
| 10-tyre truck | 16 tonnes | 22-24 ft | Mid-distance full loads |
| 12-tyre truck | 21 tonnes | 24-28 ft | Heavy FMCG and steel |
| 14-tyre truck | 25 tonnes | 28-32 ft | Long-haul bulk movement |
| 32 ft trailer | 25-30 tonnes | Single / multi axle | Volume cargo and machinery |
| 20 / 32 ft container | 9-25 tonnes | Fully closed body | Weather-sensitive cargo |
Payloads are indicative. Actual permissible weight depends on the vehicle registration and the route.
What we check before a vehicle reaches your gate
The same checklist applies to our own trucks and to sourced market vehicles.
Insurance and fitness
Valid cover and fitness certificate on file, with expiry tracked in our system.
Driver licence
Licence verified and the driver's mobile number shared with you before loading.
Permit for the route
National or state permit checked against the lane, so the truck is not stopped at a border.
Service and tyres
Own-fleet trucks are pulled off the road for service and tyre replacement on a schedule, not after a breakdown.
